Specification of Viking Air Terminal Lightning Rod Type V2
Viking is an air terminal or finial, used to catch lightning which is then channeled to the earth or generally said to be a lightning rod. The Vikings were only one part of the lightning protection system. Consists of 4 Types: V2, V3, V4, and V6 based on the radius of protection. Early Streamer Emission (ESE) based lightning rod is a lightning protection system built by electrical impulse sensor components, electrical energy collectors, lightning rods, ion generator terminals, and electronic ion generators. The Viking Early Streamer Emission (ESE) lightning conductor is a lightning protection system that operates like an ion shooter, firing large amounts of ions into the sky when lightning strikes. Releasing a number of ions into the sky will automatically generate a lightning streak known as an Upward Leader who is struck earlier than a point of similar height nearby, and also reduces the excitation time of the CORONA effect.
